This morning when I fed Angel he didn't seem to act like he felt real well. hmm I talked to him for a few mins. & didn't see any outward signs of illness, so I let him be to eat. I did my chores or cleaning out the chins & rat cages, then the dog paper. sweaten That wore me out, so I took a nap.  sleepy When I got up, I checked Angel & he hadn't eaten anything. sad8 He was pretty much still in the same area of his cage as when I had fed him earlier. think So, I got him out & sat down with him to check him from beak to toe nail. thinkin3 I couldn't see anything out of the ordinary & he was enjoying my scritches muchly. dknow I offered him a pistachio nut (his & Roscoe's fav. nut) and he only took it with his bottom part of his beak & his tongue. huh4 If he touched anything with his beak he would draw back as if it were very tender. He had not cracked it & there was no blood in the aviary, so I determined that he must have fallen sometime in the night & bruised the end of his beak. He tries to hang on with his beak when he looses his grip & I felt like he must have held on til his weight pulled him loose & it made his beak tender. oh

I fed him a good bit of veggies & fruits & nuts & he ate them quite well as long as he could keep his top beak off of it. happyjack Then after I put him on his play perch, he did start using his beak gently & chewed on a limb, so I think all is well with it & he was just afraid it was still sore.  smile3

Here are some pics of him soaking up my lovin'  loveuk& enjoying a little quality time with his Mama. hugu

Ya' know, I never even noticed the person on the t.v. til you mentioned it. A lot I pay attention to my own pics... dmblaf Maybe I better look closer to them before posting next time. oh It's no telling what I might be revealing.  :oopse5: wink1

Angel is doing just fine now.  :thumb:Yesterday he was back to using his beak like normal. It was just a bit bruised from him falling, not broken or cracked thank goodness. happyjack smile3
