Pit bulls just don’t get seem to get any respect — even if they’ve served their country. Jasper, a retired military dog, can’t get home because his breed is considered too aggressive to fly by the airlines. The pit bull was working for the U.S. military in Texas and preparing to serve alongside Staff Sgt. Jordan Lee in Afghanistan. Unfortunately, Jasper suffered heatstroke and had to retire. The four-legged fellow is now up for adoption and Lee wants to adopt him, with his cousin in Colorado taking care of the pooch until he returns from Afghanistan. But no airline will fly the furry vet to her because of his breed. Maybe Greyhound could help? [Source]
