Talk about a heavy molt... All fids seem to be this year but right now Andi looks horrendous.  We are gonna go shower here in a bit. Sheesh.

Tumbler showing off her nearly finished molt.

Same here! Max is full of pins so him not being hand tame along with his age we leave him to his own devises. He had a large sofy acrlic hoop stlye swing which he enjoys rubbing his head on. He'll sit on me and rub his face and head on my face and nose, but he won't let us help with the pins.  Since it stresses him out to be towled I'm not going to try - it'd be just my lick he'd have a heart attack and die and I couldn't handle that.

Heeeereeee tooo!  Tupi is a total pin head!!!!!  You can't even give her a little scritch cause you can't miss a pin and then she lunges.  We will have to do some de-pinning to her poor little head.  Chill is a pin head as well.  Mahal has a short tail at the moment and looks mutant. hardlaf

Most birds molt when there are swings in temperature. It gets cool, they molt, it gets warm, they molt.

Awww poor Andis. Hope it starts to feel better soon. hugu

Mine are all about through molting for this year. Of course Roscoe just turned 1 a couple of weeks ago & Angel was 1 in April, so it was their first real molt. Will know more about their molt habits next year as they begin to mature. :twirl:

They did go through some scratchy head & neck times. Angel began to finally let me scritch his neck once he realized it felt good. dmblaf

I can't go by how "fuzzy" my dogs are getting since I have sheep for dogs as Mar loves to call them... 2funny2 lol

All mine are having a heavy molt right now too, Yoshi looks like hell and HW too.  Zuri is the only one who looks decent.

Boy you did do some work for Andi.  Poor guy must be itchy and uncomfortable.
