as, i'm sure, most of ya'll do, i have a nightly routine. Each evening after i put the birds to bed, i go to let the dogs in and they get bedtime treats and a pat on the head or two before bed. so last nite i 'tucked' all the birdies in their 'beds' and went outside to let the dogs in. once the dogs are in, frolicking round excited for the treats they KNEW was on the way i'm kinda  :cstars:  so as i'm kinda spinning round trying not to get knocked over by darla i spot a 'unique dog' in the floor... it had red, yellow, and blue feathers!  slaph  and it was HAULING TAILFEATHERS  across the kitchen floor!  laugh laffhrd  as i picked up skittles he says to me in a bubbly voice "HI!!!"  lol  i ask him "how did you get OUT???" he laughs and says to me "whatcha doin??"  laugh  how could ANYONE get mad at THAT??  loveuk loveuk  so predictably, he got a few extra mins of cuddle time and i discovered his open side door and closed it (again). as i put him in his cage AGAIN, he says "gotta go nite nite! laa laa!" <translation "laa laa" is love ya>
i'm tellin ya, they are what keeps me going when i have tough times.  loveuk

“My brother and sister birds, you should praise your Creator and always love him: He gave you feathers for clothes, wings to fly and all other things that you need. It is God who made you noble among all creatures, making your home in thin, pure air. Without sowing or reaping, you receive God’s guidance and protection.”
St. Francis of Assissi
