some of our members here are veteran enrichment experts. their birds are too. mine? well mine are hand fed, bowl fed, lazy bumps on a perch.  dmblaf  nooo i dont mean they are BAD birdies. they have spent their entire lives in captivity (okay except ollie, but we dont know how long ollie has been in captivity for certain or how old he was when he was caught), so they haven't the foggiest idea on how to forage. unfortunately i'm nearly as stumped as they are.  think  not to say i havent had suggestions or made some rudimentary attempts at enrichment. but well, i'm nearly as lazy as my parrots.  ashamed  so anyway, i found a neat site that has some digital books for enrichment and toy making suggestions as well as a few videos on how to get 'em started on foraging. the one statement the lady made that just kinda hit me like  idea  she mentioned that she started with 'junk food' nooo she didnt hand her parrot a hunk of hershey bar. but she says to get 'em interested ya gotta start with something that will really leave 'em  droolon2

okay here's the link to the books
