I agree, pretty dumb...But my kitty Bob (still in Bailey) used to kiss Misty, and would let the tiels and Budgie climb on him, and would just sit there. You haveta REALLY know your cat i guess. Kaya though..no WAY is she allowed near the birds like that!

That is par for DUMB-ASS people who shouldn't own birds! Cat saliva is a death sentence for birds as is a simple scratch from their claws due to the simple fact that most people won't take their bird to the vet. Antibiotics are need after a cat scratch or coming into contact with cat saliva.

Very true.  Not only can they injure or kill out of play or instinct the bacteria from their saliva and or claws can also kill.  It just takes one fraction of a second and your beloved $80 bird is lunch cause you thought it was cute to video tape  :ugstpd:  The people in this world are becoming stupider by the day, because of lack of research, knowledge, spontaneous retarded compulsion, laziness, and most of all selfishness.  slaph
