Powder had his bi-annual vet visit today, we had bloodwork done and a couple other tests done just to ensure he's a healthy bird. I need a new carrier as of taday because Powder decided to do some remodeling on his carrier. He chewed a HUGE hole in it and was almost able to climb out of it,  bugeye  luckily I keep an oversized, extra thick flannel shirt in the truck so I was able to cover the entire carrier. Poor baby wanted to play "peek-a-boo" with momma while she was driving.

I'm gonna order a small knockdown cage to use as a carrier. We'll have to bolt a sheet of wood onto the back and part of the sides so he doesn't chew the seats. BTW, he WILL chew the seats, he chewed a nice hole in a truck hubs got that was just a few days old, so we learned early on in our relationship that NOTHING is out of bounds.

... wouldn't a little discomfort be worth the "cool" factor... certainly would be a conversation starter...
