no its not the same. I went to meet the "schnauzer' and he was a *bleep*-szhu. Real cute. Came right over to me, leaned up against me and I was petting his head, then out of the blue, he tried to bite me. Wham....no warning. I thought, well maybe he is just nervous. He walked away then came back and leaned on me again. I was scratchin his ears and all of a sudden he started this deep rumble in his chest and started to give me a dominance stare and I thought he was gonna leap at me. Very bizarre. Animals always like me. His foster  mom did say he had been crated 14-16 hours a day for almost 4 years . I think it affected him, so I passed. Maggie was on CL. At least no one will take her and flip her for $$$$. Billy is way excited trying to play, but she is a bit leary of him. Todd is ever the perfect gentleman and she is comfy with him already. She is so freakin sweet I need some insulin.

She was free..her family only wanted a good home for her. They were not trying to make any money or recoup any care costs. Some people troll CL and take in any animals they can. You see ads "I love birds. I will take any that need a home." Same with dogs and reptiles mostly. They are either hoarders, but most likely flippers. They promise great homes, then turn around and try to sell them to anyone with cash. They lie to the previous owners and don't care who gets the animal as long as they make a buck. Also, pitbull fighters will take free dogs to use as bait dogs. That happens in the bigger cities around me, - Syracuse, Rochester, Watertown....so people giving their pups away or selling for very little cash need to be super careful.
But about Maggie, we had a great night. She went absolutely bonkers when Bruce got home from work. You would think they were old friends who hadn't seen each other in 10 years. HE was immediately smitten and cuddled on the loveseat with her. It really was amazing. You would think he was wrapped in bacon or something....hey...maybe I should have (bacon) strip searched him. LOL She is asking to go out and go potty and has not had one accident. I think I got lucky with Maggie. She  likes the boys, and is totally relaxed. She was even chasing Billy around the backyard for a few minutes last night. I think its gonna be all good.   loveuk
