Since it's been forever and a day here are some updated photos for everyone!  We are moved and settling into our new house.  Still trying to establish a routine since right now its either Koda or the birds, not both at the same time.  SO both end up slightly unhappy.  Mango has been doing okay since Kiwi passed but definitely is sporting more pin feathers than i'd like.  The new adoptee, Apollo, did not handle the stress of the two hour drive very well.  He didn't eat for 3 days, was not good.  He is doing fine now though.  Andi couldn't care either way, she still gets her window to look out of and she's happy.  Tumbler is of course all lovey dovey like normal, and Dart is doing better about not biting and stepping up, but he still prefers avian company to mine.

So for some pics... shall we go smallest to largest?  sure why not :)

Mango

lemme show u my wings!

Dart and Tumbler

and again...

Tumbly being cute as she ruffles her feathers :)

Don't watch me while i eat!

numnumnumnumnum... (Tumbler and Mango)

The new addition: Apollo

Preening Apollo

Then of course Andi

Whatcha doing?

Gotta get all the way in here, my legs must look purdy!!!

OOOOOOkay.... i'm bored, what's down here?

Drakah setting up shop outside the front door while I unload the car

Koda... "this is mine right mom??? only mine? just for me?  can i keep it?

Koda... MOM, theres a backyard out here... ooooooooo... (but its only a 4 ft fence right now tho, something he could leap in a heartbeat, so until the 6ft privacy fence goes up he's leash bound... sadness....)

Aww.. Cheerio and apollo look alike,  and no not just because they are male cockatiels but cheer cheer has yellow feathers behind his head in like the same spot.  I love the photos!  They are all so so gorgeous!

how cute erines! :)   and yes ditty, i know :)  she's my little baby.   gets anything she wants, whenever she wants.  i dread the day she is no longer with me.  i'm hoping she makes it through the next 4 years of my life.  she's been the only steadfast in my life since i turned 18 and left home for the first time.  No other dog like her :)  i personally think the picture of Koda with his bone shows his inevitably happy "duh" face.  that's the look i get when things don't work quite right for him... like when he jumps into car windows  :oopse5: :oopse5:

geez wishy :)  lots o questions!!!! okay okay, one at a time.  yes, it is the picture thingy that opens into a play gym.  i'll get you some more pics.  as for being "just for tiels or budgies," a gcc is smaller than a tiel...  i can say its neat, but it doesn't offer nearly the room tumbly would like.  mango will sit there as he's not super active, and both will eat from it.  but it doesn't offer a lot of tail movement so i wouldn't put a tiel up there. classes officially start on the 20th, but i have a mandatory orientation on the 17th.  i did transfer to a local walgreens, but i took a two week vaca and don't start till the 15th.  i am just going to be working part time from here on out till i graduate.  last year sucked doing full time work and school, and now the classes really count so i don't want to be without appropriate studying time.  plus i missed not having time with the furred and feathered kids.  the yard is nice, it'll have enough room for me to throw frisbee's all day for Koda :)  once we get the new wood fence up.  and they are settling in okay.  i'm not done setting up their room yet. i'll take some whole house pics for y'all once i'm done with it.  mainly just finishing the bird room and then taking care of some "craft" stuff.

as you can see in my siggie, i had two and they were the best of buds :(  Kiwi passed away at the beginning of may.  nearly broke my heart.  he was my first real bird and such a sweetie.  Kiwi was a true canary wing, Mango is a white wing.  the local bird shop i use for food actually got in 6 baby canary wings from their breeder back in may.  2 canary's and 4 white's.  i was so tempted, but really the last thing i need is another pet.
