Mmmm the smell of burning urine soaked wood. Is it for the fireplace or the smoker? I'm sure it adds a certain Je Ne Se Quois?

The wood is for the fire pit, outside.  If it was my precious hardwood for me smoker cooking we then may have had smoked fox in the next few days, just sayin ashamed

Awww, she's just a widdle girl. Surely she didn't piss on much wood?  dknow

Maybe you could make her a pile of her own & she will leave your big pile alone.  laugh

They are so cute, we have grey and red fox around here, but usually all I get to see of them is when they dart across the road headed to parts unknown. :deer:

I got to see Ms Fox last night....I think she is spooky...the way when she sees you, she stands tall and stares you down, trots down a little and stops and stares again and then makes a huge circle bee line and crosses over you towards the creek.  I think she is a shape-shifter!  monster

My best fox memory was here about 5 years ago.  For some reason I was up as the sun was coming up and there was a little mist.  I went out on the deck with my coffe and saw a grey fox staring at me.  I slowly would walk and stop, and he would do the exact with me, staring the whole time.  This went on for 15 minutes and we ended up going around the whole perimeter.  He then ended up near the main road and I stopped cause I did not want him getting hit.  Was sooo cool and I have never seen him again.

I love how they stop and stare at ya.  I think it is cool.  Like they are trying to figure out your next move.
