Again I go to take Zeus out and there is the fox!!...she started to walk towards me so I got Zeus back into the house and grabbed the camera.  I saw the 2 babies at the second shed so I found momma again and started to follow her....tried to get some pics of the babies but they scurried under the shed and then momma made a bee-line back towards me so I got skeered....but here are some pics!!!   handshappy

Missed it again pullhair  Welp, no scraps for the pregnant Raffi Raccoon.  Just hope those two don't cross paths and fight cause Raffi lives not far from the Fox shed :deer:

so pretty!  Ya know it could be one of Raffi Racoon's ols burrows that she took over.  They don't ever make their own, they steal old ones or one that is occupied by something really small (like a bunny).  They are lazy but smart.

How cool you get to watch the babies grow and in a few weeks they will be gone to the woods again.
Interesting that momma charged you, the momma we had here used to run off into the woods and leave all her babies to fend for themselves.  slaph  I often wondered if it was just her or if it was the fox way.  I guess my foxy momma was just a loser.  LOL

I could have watched the babies all day.  Look out at around dusk and you may find her feeding the babies somewhere, they do not always feed inside the burrow but sometimes they hide and sometimes they are out right in the open if no one was around.

I did a lot of research on fox when we had em here .  haha

Does she look like a cross between a grey and red fox or is it just me? think  We do have both and have seen both on this property.

Ya know I was surprised how much black was on mom of ours too.  I am not sure what kind it was , I don't remember.
You probably have more than 2 babies there too.  Just saying.  We thought we had 2, then it was 3, then 5, and when we saw em leaving there were 8, yes 8!

I think Toz is right charge rent!   dmblaf

They are maybe drawn to you guys cuz you live and let live ya know.  They know they will not be run out.

Look at mom behind the circle swing...see how much black she has too.  Interesting.
