Am doing an all day slow BBQ and was sittin in the sun in my driveway.  About 4 feet from me a Blue Jay dives into the grass.  think  So I look to see what his dinna is and looks like a small toad.  He plays with it in his mouth and I can see it is a BIG fat spider and then he swallows it  :deer: vomit  Not much bothers me but I HATE spiders and now I am not even hungry for BBQ.  hmm

Ewwww!  Wonder if they eat bee's too?
Speaking of critters and my recent post with chippie in the bird bath feeder....I never knew a chippie could gorge his cheeks out and then drink water!  He had his cheeks so full today and then went over to a little bowl of water I have out there for them and took a drink...gorge and all!  dknow
