So we got this new English Budgie and were told it was a male....so my daughter names him Rocky. It is her bird so she names him, but there seems to be some confusion about it's sex. And the age too. We were told he was 7 or 8 months old! I have attached some photo's so let me know what you think of age and sex. Thanks.

Think it has to do with the color of the cere....I think BF or Wishy may know...I am sure you will get some helpful responses, but I gotta say he or she is a cutie pie!!!

The age seems about right, judging by the conformation of the head and the color of the cere at this point, I am going to say male.

ok not sure, one pic the cere looks almost a bluish and one it looks totally pink so not sure.
