This past saturday, I woke to find Kiwi on the bottom of his cage.  I have not handled this very well but I have buried him at my friends house (i wanted something more permanent than my place) and said my good byes.  This was far too soon and not expected.  I am not happy that I have had so little time with them lately and was looking forward to this summer with them :(  this is hard.  he was my first bird and he started it all.  i'd had him six years... i was expecting 15 more though... i'm also somewhat worried at how mango will do.  time will tell...

i miss you and i love you kiwi.  forever and always.

I am so sorry. He was such a special fid. I laughed so hard when he divebombed dad that time when I was fidsitting while you were gone. And how he hated phones and I tried to put it up to him so he could hear your voice and he just about came through the cage to get that phone. He was a character and will be remembered fondly.
