The chart says that an adult Eclectus should weigh  430 grams.

I just weighed Victor and was happy to see he was 429 grams.   smile3
Getting the greys on the scale is going to take some doing. hmm

I know right before Julian hurt his foot he was 66 g. I know he also lost weight afterward due to pain/stress/couldn't forage/eat due to lack of mobility/whatever because he started to feel more bony. Now that he is doing better and he can get around, he has seemed to have regained the loss. poor baby.  hugu

Wishforabird,

Good to hear Julian is better and back to a good weight. Had to be a bit scary seeing the weight loss.
I just bought a scale so I could monitor their weights.

All our birds weigh much less than the weight(s) listed, but it's normal for them.

thank you caddisfly :) I want to weigh him when i take the bandage off to change it, but he wants me to be done ASAP so i just change it and let him up.  slaph  oh well, I think another week and it will be healed, provided he doesn't take the scab off... again.  slaph
