ONE MINUTE IS ALL IT TAKES

cage cleaning day is always...busy. i've got all cages clean and have gotten to the point of laying paper in the bottom of twiggy's and caleb's cages. Each fid in the livingroom are on his cage. As i go to lay the paper in twiggy's cage i see an article that catches my attention so there i am, butt sticking outta her cage head in the cage reading the article. as i pull my head out i hear a giggle from marley. He's not on top of his cage.    so i freeze, for fear of stepping on his by accident, and call out "marley!! answer mommy!" and he obliges me with his little cheep, as i taught him. Look down,    He's playing with the scrub brush floating in the bucket. THANK GOODNESS I USE THE BIOKLEEN THAT IS 100% NATURAL AND SAFE.  He wasnt there long i'm sure, maybe a minute. But it just goes to show, a minute is all it takes to end up with a BAD SITUATION.

I had an incident the other day where I went to dump some water from cleaning my betta tanks in the bathroom...left scooter on my computer chair. Now normally, he doesn't move from there. But I came back less than a minute later and he was sitting on top of one of the fish tanks trying to drink water out of the filter.
