Anyone watch this?  I do on occasion usually cause there is nothing else on.  Though most of these people are extreme I do think there are some good reasons to stock up on food etc.  Even if doomsday never happens many other things such as tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, massive blizzards etc could hit any one of us and to have food and water stocked is always a good thing.  My biggest fear is a giant solar flare.  A large enough EMP from one would fry anything electrical and there is a 12% chance this will happen in the next 10 years sending us into the Dark Ages.  There would be no vehicles, no electric, no communication etc.  The last 4 weeks I have been stocking up on canned food, water, rice, pasta, and toilet paper.  Maybe I watch too much of this stuff?  dknow

I watch it. Though I think a few of them are off their rockers...most seem down to earth. I think it makes sense and if people have the space/$ to do it it is a great idea. Better to be prepared.

I have never heard of it actually.

I also think it is better to be prepared.  (of course I am not tho hmm )  But honestly if it is a doomsday thing that wipes out most of the Earth then why do I want to still be here?  I just hope it takes me and my loved ones with it.

LOL I saw the ads for this and we also watch it when there is nothing on.. some of those folks are COO COO  loco6 and some are just being prepared.  IT is always good to be prepared, a zillion boy scouts can be wrong, can they?  dmblaf  Most people are not, and when stuff hit the fan they will be desperate...robbing people, or worse to get what they have.   :somad:  i am not prepared, not at all.  It is enough for me to make it through a regular day anymore!   slaph  with all the countries with unstable regimes getting ahold of not so nice weapons now, how long can it be before a pissing contest ensues and we are all french fries?  think   with we little people un-allowed to really have a say, this is a way to do so. be prepared.  time for a nap.

I personally don't watch the show, but we always have a ton of canned foods, coleman fuel, batteries, bottled water, pet foods, and medicine from June 1st through November 30th. Just in case the Taino god of wind pays us a visit.
