I'll try to take some pictures with my camera. The iPhone doesn't do her justice. This was today at the bird store where she was having a spa day. The staff there ADORE her

Lola is beautiful!! :twirl: loveuk
I take it she is from a clutch you hatched? That has to be neat getting to watch your feathered buddy emerge from a tiny egg & grow into a gorgeous parrot.  happyjack

I enjoyed the ones I had, I just haven't decided I want another one in my life for now. Maybe later on I will get another.  hmm

Hello Nakia:
Yes she is from last years clutch (the youngest of 5!). Lucy was having a hard time feeding so many that I had 2 choices. I could have fostered her under Viola (my vinaceous female who will feed anything) or I could hand rear her. I chose to hand rear her. She is sweet when she wants to be, ornery when she chooses, and beautiful all the time. I'm glad that I chose to hand rear her and I'll be sad to see her go when the time comes for her to join the CBP.

Wish:

She is a Cuban Amazon and the poster behind me says "don't purchase baby birds from nest robbers" it is an educational poster that the shop's owner did when he was in Costa Rica working on the Great Green Macaw (Buffon's Macaw) conservation project
