Umm, thanks, but I love your floof pics much better Mar & actually I love everyone else's floof pics much better.  :twirl:

My camera is a Kodak Easy Share Z981, 14 MP, 26X zoom, (that's all I know about it) but I have no idea how to use the manual settings. I use the setting on it for different scenes such as back light (the inside pics were with that or the low light setting, very useful for reptile pics). With the macaws I sometimes try the sports setting. The shutter speed seems to be quicker, but the color quality is lost a bit with sports setting.

That is a prickly pear, a nearly spineless species. They are not indigenous to our area. I got the start from my Mother-in-law's yard & she got it from a neighbor who went on a trip someplace & dug it up. We have the plain old spiny, hurts like Hell when you get stuck by one kind growing wild all over in the pastures around here. My yard itself isn't very pretty, I don't do much to it. I will see what I can find around the area of native plants & trees & get a few pics up for ya'. It may be next week before I get them ready, but I will snap away.  pictime The prickly pear will start blooming soon.

The bread did survive & Jerry was none the wiser. I occasionally bake bread, not too often anymore. Jerry can eat it as fast as it gets done, I have always loved yeast rolls best & can't make them for crap. I followed my Grandma's recipe & other recipes, but they never turned out very well. I gave them up a long time ago.  hmm

I LOVE ur pics better! thumb  I have an easy share too only not as high powered as yours.  I'd love a little more power.
My gram used to live in Az. and she had prickly pears outside her house...I remember the birds loved them!
Yeast rolls are the best!!!!!!!!...I have never tried to make them though.  I've only ever made bread in a bread machine which I just threw out.
I'd enjoy seeing any pics! thumb
