Jared was at home babysitting Cassie while hubs and i were off on a hike with the pups.  HW was safely in his cage when I left, as were all the birds.  Therefore I left the door open .  We do have a screen there anyway just in case.  THANK GOODNESS!!  HW got out of his cage and flew hitting the screen and it knocked him to the floor.  Cassie heard this and came running to see what happened.  When she did, she went to get in front of him and he followed her out the screen.  She was screaming for Jared to come help her.  They did VERY well considering we were no where to be found and even by phone it would have taken us a while since we were in the woods.  He saw the broom out on the deck and they both held one end of it, placed it in front of him and cassie told him to step up and he did immediately.  They walked him inside and put him on his playstand.

sweaten PHEW!  Glad they did good problem solving and glad that he did not fly off.  Now I will be putting a master lock on his cage.   slaph

And Jared DID want brownie sundae's, so guess I am baking tomorrow,  Cass is easy, brownie with cool whip, cool whip and more cool whip. I of course thanked them repeatedly and hugged them and told them what a GREAT job they did.

I'm really glad this is a wooden house with linoleum floors and not stone or ceramic floors. :cstars:  So glad you have kids with fresh grey matter.  thumb

laffhrd laffhrd I was so thinking on the same wave link......

Ditty, Oh My Your kids acted fantastically!!! weirdo3

and HW...poor baby missed his Mommy!!! and wanted to join youuuuuuuuuu

um, Yes & Charlie has a Master lock, just expect HW to snap the "Master Lock" metal name off of the bottom of the lock. I panicked when Charlie first did it, but on Lock number 2...didnt bother me, he spit it right out, after chewing on it figuring out that it really didnt taste too good.

Dont forget to disinfect it. thumb
