Awwh mac is such a cute bird. By the way, i truly and honorably respct the fact that you have had mac for such a short time and you two act like you have been bonding for years. I think that is amazing and something to be very proud of. But then again, im just a teen so idk if you would really care lol

Thanks Mikey i appreciate it. I am happy with how quick we have bonded. Especially because the lady i purchased him from said it took 8 weeks for her to be able to pic him up. Its been 5 weeks now and he steps up everytime i ask and with great ease. I go toward him with my arm and his foot is already in the air and he steps up so well. He is such a great bird.

Good im glad! He seems like such a good bird. I have been volunteering at an animal hospital and a sun conure comes in every once in a while i havent seen it yet tho. I started on friday. Do you know if mac gets along with other birds?

i think he is fine with pretty much everything unless they get close enough for biting reach then he will open his beek like come a little closer and i am chomping down. I took him into my local pet store and they have a red fronted macaw and i brought him over so they could meet and mac stayed completely quite and was just looking at him but the other bird was letting out multiple screatches over and over and over again. even as we walked away. When we were on the patio he had dogs walking up to him and he was fine with them.
