Your little fabies are super adorable!! I love how you catch the wings spread in flight. It reminds me of pics of hummingbirds in flight. They have the sweetest faces I think I've ever seen.

So precious and great wing shots! You know we love pics around here! Are they going to stay with you? They are not going back to where they came from are they?

they arent going back to the breeder,i will find homes for the one(s) we wont be keeping. hubby asked what i wanted for valentines day and i said i wanted to keep the babies here until i found a good home that wouldnt breed them and wouldnt harm them. so he paid the lady for the 2 she was going to take back. he said it wasnt right we had to pay for them but he knew if we didnt she could come get them. topaz is for sure staying with us and we plan to also keep citrine. i have a good friend that is possibly interested in peridot and emerald. the lady i got these guys from contacted me again and asked if i would tame a baby for her and buy him for 30 dollars and i quote"do with him as u wanna idc). hubby said no we arent doing her any favors anymore and we arent paying for another bird from her. he said that she is using me for my good heart and as much as he knows it would be best for the bird to come here with us if we continue to pay her or help her out she will be sending all her unwanted birds to us. he said maybe if we stop helping her out she will stop breeding or take real responsibility for the babies she produces.

I'm glad you're keeping them.Give your hubs a HUG from me please, he's quite the man to give you birds for V day and to tell the breeder "no more".
I feel bad for any babies that don't measure up to her standards, I fear she'll just cull them, but I'd rather they die than be in her house and possibly be bred or have to live a bad life.

No, I don't think you should have had to pay either, you did all the work and love with them but...better to be safe and loved than otherwise. She needs to be stopped...don't help her out anymore unless it is just to save them and no longer be with her. Anyhow they are precious and have come far with you!
