Hubs asked for my beef teriaki, went to the store and bought all the stuff and forgot the soy sauce.
I personally don't eat it but it always gets rave reviews so here it is...
1 lb thinly sliced teriaki beef
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 TBSP olive oil
1 tsp dry ginger
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Mix marinade in a baggie, add meat, turn and mix in baggie every hour at room temp for 3 hours. Broil for 10 min, turn and broil another 5 to 10 min (depending on thickness of beef)
You can do the same marinade with chicken but it only needs 2 hours with thin sliced cutlets. You can also add 2 TBSP of chili sauce for a spicy teriaki.
