i'm trying to teach caleb how to bathe (happily). so i have a big pan of water in the floor. i have a bunch of kale greens in it. i show him the kale, i splash around in the water a bit. he comes over to see what i'm doing. starts playing with/chewing up the greens. so i back off, to let him play. he seems to be really enjoying this game and carefully takes each bit of greens out and puts them in a pile on the floor. then gets his jingle ball and puts it in the pan.  dmblaf moves it around in the water. gets a little drink. goes to get an acrylic foot toy that defies description. puts it in the water. now he's really into this game and is running round grabbing toys to put 'em in his water. note to self: get caleb a rubber duckey.  dmblaf  so next he grabs a stuffed birdie that cheeps when ya squeeze it and plunks it in the water.  bugeye  i say "caleb, honey, that's not really a water toy." and take it out. he gets it, flops it around a bit. carefully places it in the water.  slaph "mommmma!!! the birdie needs a BATH"  smile3

ya gotta love 'em.  loveuk

WOW that is actually great that he is playing in there, just keep offerring.  One day she will step foot in there, have you tried putting a little water in the tub with a bunch of toys, he may run in and out of the water that way.

Put the pan of water in the tub, then toys, then Caleb. Next time add water to tub, just enough to get feets wet, place pan in tub, add toys, add Caleb. Slowly over time add a bit more water until he's playing in the water (or the pan floats  smile3)
