we had ourselves a little new year's outting. it was great! we have a visiting manager who wanted to meet skittles, so i took him in to work this morn for a little visit. he enjoyed it for the most part. when we first got there our cosmetics girl insisted on walking up and trying to touch skittles,  pullhair  which got her a nip and a yell and made him nervous. But after i made it clear that i wouldnt let anyone else touch him, he mellowed out a bit. he really didnt talk much today. which could have been any of several reasons or the combination of them all: nancy touching him right away, we went outside cause a customer wanted her mom to see him and he spotted a hawk in the sky (we went back inside at that point), he didnt get a good nite's sleep last nite, and his least favorite person was at the store. but i know he enjoyed himself cause when i started to leave he leaned away from the door.  dmblaf  then when we got home, he wanted to stay outside for a bit. he even got on the ground and walked around in the grass for a few minutes. Now he's high on his favorite swing calming down from his exciting morning and dozing. yay skittles!  handshappy  he's doing so well!

What a great way to start the New Year!  I'm glad he (and you) had such a good morning.

Nancy, Huh? I worked with a Nancy that would do the same thing. I took Powder in one day and of course she had to attempt to touch him even though I told her no. Poor Nancy almost peed herself because just as she reached out to touch Powder he screamed   his Cockatoo scream and fluffed himself wayyyyyyyyy up!  laffhrd Every time I took Powder in after that she ran into the back room and hid, served her right though.  smile3
