i honestly cant take much more death.. first off my stupid card reader deleted 200 photos and now i have none of my sweet rattie juniper but the one on my phone. i was just allowing my heart to love another rattie again and then i lose her. she didnt even get to enjoy all her christmas gifts and the fact that she was safe with me and not going to be snake food. i am just so upset i cant even think right now. i went in to give her some treats and loves and she was gone. sweet baby juniper may you rest in peace and play with uncle squishy, your brothers wacie g,thor and yukon and your sister iris.

Awwwwwwwwwwww, Mi! I am sooooo sorry! She was truely loved and that is the important thing, not that it helps you at the moment. Was her litter bred for rat food? Most mice and rats bred strictly for food just don't live as long as rats and mice bred as "pet stock", don't know if it's genetics or the care given to these poor creatures most only live a few months at most. I know most breeders interbreed & many let entire litters interbreed. I learned this in school when I was going to do an extra credit thing.

aww..That sucks! I too have to agree with Mar. She was safe and loved with you. No snakes to chase her. I'm sorry Mi. Mi? My Vet's office that "took care" of Garthy sent me a clipping of his fur along with his paw stamped in clay. I was wondering, what if you buy a little pendant vile and snip a tiny clipping to put into the vile as a keep sake. And or Fimo clay make a little hand print of Juniper , shape into a star or heart to wear as pendant or make 2 as earrings bracelet charm. You dont have to go without Juni. Sondra, I never thought about Mice or animals who are being bred for food are removed of certain traits because they are just food. SCience Fiction occurring right under my nose!

thanks all,and debz thanks for the ideas. maybe before she is burried i will do that. i wanted to get a picture of her face but thought that maybe it would be weird to some that i did that after she was gone. maybe i can get her paw print and send it to you and you could make something fancy with it for me? or maybe mar could do a stamp on some metal with it? i still have the paw print from diesel packed away and a pendant this lady painted for me on a quatz type stone

I could probably do an ornie/hangy in the shape of a little rattie similar to my kitty and dog bone ornie
