This morning i went in a bit later than normal, so i was taking my time getting ready. Got the birds' breakfast. The dogs were outside. Opened the gate and let the cat have run of the house for a bit. Skittles, angel that he is, threw a half a walnut at...er... i mean, TO the cat. So kitty was having a blast batting that half a walnut all over the livingroom. Ollie had finished breakfast and was in the bottom of his cage shredding paper....he likes to shred paper.
i figure, if it keeps him happy? wth? So anyway, Ollie's cage is situated near the corner of the room, there's about 18 inches or 2 ft of space between his cage and the corner. Kitty happily batted her 'toy' to the corner and had a bit of trouble getting it out of the corner. So as she's over there ...idk, i guess she was just sitting. Ollie decided that she was entirely too close to his cage. So he quietly walked to that side of the cage, Kitty has her back to him. He suddenly flapped his wings, shooting a bunch of feathers, paper shreds, and a heck of a blast of air at the cat. At the same time he let out a LOUD moan. Startled kitty so bad she leaped three feet straight up, and tried to run... right into the corner. As she took off for the kitchen ollie let out the most maniacal laughter i've ever heard.
took me 10 minutes to get myself together, cause i KNOW that bird scared that cat ON PURPOSE and took PLEASURE in it!
