I just love these...they are $ to buy already done up so had to venture to make my own for some gifts!
You can make them for $2 or under!!!!   handshappy
Mason jar soap dispenser...could be for bathroom or kitchen!

~I guess you could use any kind of jar as long as you can get a hole in the top of it....just to fit the pump through.  I got a pack of 4 mason jars at Target.

~Smaller bottles of liquid soap( ? or lotion)...each jar will use the soap and dispenser from each.  Got my soap also at Target for .88 each.

~Ribbon, raffia, yarn etc. for decoration

~Glue to put around the dispenser to help hold it in

~Something to make the hole in the lid of the jar....I used my hole punch and metal shears (dremmel, drill, nail etc)

~Wahlaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

I love it!! I will tell you why: it is not only adorable, it can be customized with ribbons and yarn to match the bathroom, it holds more than regular dispensers so less fill-ups and it is STABLE on the counter so when you are going for it with wet hands (esp kids who do not have the fine motor skills yet to not put too much weight on the spout and tip it over) it will not tip!!! GREAT IDEA! did you do this??

Did I make up the idea?...no, I'm not even sure when I first saw it.
I also saw something else...first I saw it on Etsy...then went to the dollar store website(looking for when they opened) and whatta ya know!!!  they were advertising what I am about to show you.....

They are selling these for $$$$$$!  I think they are neat...could be used as a glass, (wishful) candle holder or a little catch all or to display feathers and such....a jar on a candle stick!!!!!

thinkin3 Using this jar or maybe a plain one you could add some dimensional paints, metallic markers and personalize them.  Lots of possibilities and you can use any size jar to fit what you need.  Or with the candle stick one...slit a hole in the top and use it for a piggy bank...mason jar bank..... dmblaf
