I've wanted to try these new pellets. there is one that is veggie shaped and flavored and one that is nut shaped and flavored. Ollie is not much of a fruit kinda guy but he adores his veggies. so i was hoping that the veggie ones would entice him to the pellet way of thinking. And Skittles loves his fruit pellets but i thought it might be a nice change of pace for him to try the nut ones. Well, i had to go to town today in search of a difficult to find commodity and ran by petsmart while i was out. They had these on sale, so against my checkbook's objections, i bought them.

i excitedly opened them up when i got home, put a small handfull of each in ollie's treat bowl telling him what a good boy he is and how much he deserves a special treat! i even went so far as to nibble on one to show him how yummy they are  :gomer:  Ollie walked over to the bowl, stuck his face in it. picked a pellet up. dropped it. and laughed in my face. literally!  slaph

Skittles loved his. I put some in his treat bowl and told him how good it was. After he excitedly 'stirred' it up with his beak he grabbed one of the nut ones and ate it, saying 'mmmmmm, gooooood!' over and over as he ate.

They are kinda big, but i threw a couple of the smaller ones in marley's fresh food bowl, he went down, grabbed a pellet, started giggling and threw it to darla!  slaph
