I really wrestled with posting this or not but I can't help but share. I love them too much to keep it in any longer.

Talon and Maui are parronts. I thought Talon was a boy, did a DNA test and found out she is a GIRL...by the time the results came in it was too late to do anything as she laid an egg just a couple days later. Please if you have negative comments keep them to yourselves, this was totally unintentional as I said we had always thought Talon was a boy.

Talon and Maui are taking great care of the babies. From the color of their fuzz I think they are going to be Yellow sided, that means all three babies are girls. I will be keeping one baby. Baby #1 turned 1 week old yesterday.

“My brother and sister birds, you should praise your Creator and always love him: He gave you feathers for clothes, wings to fly and all other things that you need. It is God who made you noble among all creatures, making your home in thin, pure air. Without sowing or reaping, you receive God’s guidance and protection.”

Ok update time

Baby 1 is getting pins under her skin now, her ears are opening, her feet and beak are much more developed.

You can see baby 3 has darker Talons
