It was almost 70 outside today so I took HW out to Petsmart to see his friend.  After we came home we went out for a little walk.  I always keep my eye on the sky when I am out with him and he is NEVER out without his harness.  All of a sudden I see out of the corner of my eye a hawk, by the time my brain could register what was happening he was upon us.  I grabbed HW and ducked and when I did I let out a scream.  I guess I scared the hawk cuz he was about 10 or so feet above my head when he turned and flew off.  :deer:

That was a bit scary.

I did a quick look see by googling "Hawk attacks parrot" and cam across quite a few attacks, mostly people and dogs being attacked by hawks, but came across this one.

I learned first hand about hawk attacks when one snatched our female tiel.
