a few new pics...

i played in the chat box til 1 this afternoon. i needed to clean. but i played. so i finally got my hiney in gear and started cleaning. i hafta work the next 6 days in a row, so it was now or never. so i cleaned cages. and the kitchen floor. anyway, i look in the livingroom as i'm mopping the floor and see skittles at his dinner bowl. below him is darla. he's feeding her.    he gets a bite for himself as she watches. then he gets a bite for her and drops it, then watches as she eats it.








now skittles perch is 41 inches off the floor but darla is quickly growing. it wont be long before she'll be able to eat outta the bowl without his help! 

in the bedroom, rocky is taking a nap.



he's not allowed on the furnature, but he pulled the comforter off my bed and covered himself.

and ollie-bird. that is one beautiful bird. i do love him. here we have him looking sweet and innocent.



and here he's playing with his doggie toy. i cant help it, everytime i see him playing, i just burst with pride for him. he's come so far. but the ultimate joy is to see him enjoying himself and finding pleasure in his life.





none of marley today. but i'll get a few for ya'll soon. he cant go long without getting into some sort of trouble that just amuses me to death.

Great pics! Ollie looks like a different bird from when you first got him. WOW!!!!  His feathers SHINE! What can I say about Skittles that hasn't been said before.........WOW, he's AWESOME! Darla is a darling, I love seeing your pics of her. Thank you for sharing her and your flock with all of us.

Ollie- well Sondra took the words outta my mouth.  I was thinking wow look at how shiney his feathers are....and she posted it too.  He looks so content too.

Where do you get these little doggies and such?  I want some for yoshi and zuri.

What do you feed the fiddies for pellets, just curious, I don't think I have asked before

Mr. Ollie looks amazing, he looks like he is in "comfy" mode in the first pic.  He has come so far, all because of you! 
Zeus loves to be in a blanket...whatever he can find even if it's a sweatshirt.  I used to put him in my sweatshirt when he was a baby and has always loved to snuggle into something cozy.  Rock has the cutest face

Look how LONG Skittles' TAILFEATHERS ARE!!! Holy WOW!! He looks amazing, and so sweet with Darla!

And Ollie looks amazing as well. He does look so HAPPY now, playing on his own and ENJOYING it! Maybe Rodney will take some pointers from Ollie. Rod just loves chewing his boing perch to death

the doggie was a mcd's happy meal toy. now that i never go there, my friend and my son keep me posted when there are soft toys in the happy meals.  i also get the ty teeny beanies, that's what marley's mr. snowman is.

skittles is the only one who really eats the pellets, he gets kaytee rainbow (the largest ones, i think they're called 'chunky' ) and tropimix.  i offer the pellets to the other ones but they dont eat many if they eat any at all. but i usually put the harrison's super fine in my birdie bread so they get some harrison's. (i happen to be out right now)  the majority of their diet is fresh food, tho. i wanna try the new zupreem nut flavored pellets and the veggie flavored ones. i think ollie may actually go for them.

its so funny watching ollie play, he's learned how to play by watching a caique and a macaw so its just too funny. he so desperately wants to roll over on his back but is still too scared to be so vulnerable....and he has a foot fetish... he's currently chasing my shoe around trying to chew on it. 

thank you all for the compliments    it makes me feel so good that ya'll can see the diff in ollie too. i'm just so very proud of him. and well, skittles is my angel. he absolutely loves darla, i'm glad they have the bond since her job is to defend him when i'm not home.
