only, the neighbors i was chatting with have feathers. as i took darla out for her potty run i was met with  beautiful little tweeting sounds. so i whistled back in a similar pattern. to my pleasure, he/she answered me! so we tweeted/whistled to each other for a  few minutes. we were each trying to get a look at the source of the noise. i would see little flits of feathers in the tree above me.  and i'm sure he could see me in my bright yellow t-shirt. it was actually kinda sweet.  loveuk  i have to say, i was stunned that he answered me. i get alot of birds hang out in my yard cause i have alot of old trees with wonderful nesting sites. included are a few palm trees that produce some kinda nut/berry that the wild birds flock to. then there's my pecans. i have a couple cedar trees and a holly tree but they dont seem much interested in those. not to mention all the live oaks that are here and produce lots of their own nuts. so anyway, it was really fun out there chatting with the little guy... i just wish i knew what i said...  slaph  probably invited him over for sunday dinner.  dknow
