omg! skittles seems to be in a bit of a snit. or maybe having a snarky day? or perhaps being a frat? okay, honestly... he's biting the pee-water outta me tonite! if he had teeth i'd be getting out the pliers! weeelll, actually, if he had teeth i'd be at the ER getting stitches. <grin> i closed last nite and opened today. there was a pretty bad storm last nite with lots of thunder and lightning. so i'm guessing that he didnt sleep well. then the fact that he didnt go to bed til after 11 and i was up again at 630. so anyway, much like a child who's tired, he's being a little snot. he's pinched the heck outta both arms in several places, he jabbed his beak in my face when i took my glass of milk outta his reach. he tried to pull my ear off. and has pulled my hair so much i oughta be bald. marley has been a bit on the short tempered side himself. he's gone into overload nearly a dozen times... as a matter of fact, every time i start to play with him, he goes into overload and tries to maim me. i'm really just fussing, i know what caused the problem. i know the solution: put the little brat to bed! <grin> but just had to vent. ya'll ever have evenings when your little angels are more like deadly demons?

Yup. And its off to bed , with supper of course. Even if its light out, I turn their light off and let them mellow out by the evening shade. They usually settle down and munch away on dinner, then doze off.  I hate putting them to bed when its still light out, but sometimes they need the quiet...like a birdie time out.

“My brother and sister birds, you should praise your Creator and always love him: He gave you feathers for clothes, wings to fly and all other things that you need. It is God who made you noble among all creatures, making your home in thin, pure air. Without sowing or reaping, you receive God’s guidance and protection.”
St. Francis of Assissi
