Wellm I trusted my mom yet again, and it failed, AGAIN. pullhair I had to rehome Bilbo, Corby, and Budgie. BUT I believe they went to a great home.

The lady already has a DYH Amazon. a GREAT play area for the birds. And she was really sweet and understanding of my sadness. I was a mess...but i know it's what's best for them. I checked out the house, surroundings etc, and it looked great. She passed all of my criteria. She also said I can keep in touch with the fids, and call or text whenever I want and she will do the same. I also told her that if it doesn't work out that I can take them back. I really trust her to care for them as well as I have. She was so excited and happy to add to her flock, and I was happy to find them a home where all 3 can stay together.

I understand if some of you might be mad, but I feel I did what's best for them. I still love them, and always will. And I think i am showing that by not letting them waste away in the basement, while my mom just ignores them.

As long as they are safe and loved is what matters.  Sorry you had to go through some more grief but again as long as they are safe! :thumb:  No one will be mad...at the time you felt it was the right decision, better for you to have found out in time that it was not an optimal situation.  And an added bonus that you can keep tabs on them!
