Avian Deformalities
Club Feet,
There are many things that can cause this. Not enough bedding in the nest box/log, nutrition.
Palomo  Virus,
One of the parents may have been infected with this virus at one time in their life,

Splay legs,
Remember, there is a short time when the splay can be fixed, act quickly.
Fixing Splay Legs in Baby Birds

What’s  the cause?
Sometimes even with the greatest of care, a baby can develop splay legs.  Preventive measures are best (such as making sure that there is enough nesting material in the box and that the diet is nutritionally complete for the parents), but every once and a while, the mother hen will sit too tight on a baby and cause one or both legs to appear to stick out from the body.
White Bread,
This bread has absolutely no nutritional value and can actually harm birds, they will actually starve when eating white bread, so please offer whole wheat bread! And some scientist as blaming white bread for deformalities in wildlife!
High Calcium,
Our avian friends need calcium, offer a few small portions of cheese, mineral blocks high in calcium, cuttle bone has proven to splinter and can harm your birds,
If your bird is laying eggs, Provide high Calcium, you can also keep the left over eggs shells from breakfast, nuke the for one minute in the Microwave and crush them up into a fine powder and offer these to your bird’s.
Another tip, if you are feeding your bird fresh fruits and veggies “good job”, but be sure to remove all that is not eaten within 2 hrs time and dis-card.
Peace
Arty
