There are your candidates! As stated before, no voting for your own bird! That should mix things up a bit.

Here's the link to see the pics: http://buffaloparrot.smfforfree3.com/index.php/topic,582.60.html

Vote away!

Okay I'll be honest with ya. Beep is super cute how can you resist that photo that won him the title on BC! However I had to vote for Tupi only because something about that little parrotlet makes me want one and Im not a little bird person (or atleast they dont seem to favor me, point and case Junebug)

And ML2 hand feeding finchs? Wow I didnt know ppl actually did that, I had finches yrs ago you couldnt hold those things for nothing!

For me, it was a hard decision! In the end, my soft spot for greys made me choose Zimba, because that picture of her holding the bell is just too darn cute!

Yep, hand feeding finches is super easy!! Once they learned how to fly, I had flocks of zebra finches landing all over me whenever I entered the room! I had one, named Angel (the one on my thumb in the picture) who acted just like a parrot. She stepped up, loved scritches, and just hung out with me all the time! Don't tell the others, but she was my favorite baby.  ;)
The names of the finches (fron left to right) were Angel, Spotty, Little Bird, Einstein, and Fungus.

Thanks ML2  :-*  I think all of our birds are cute! I cant just pick one they are all wonderful pictures. You can see the different personalities  ;)
I think we are all already winners to be able to share our lives with these wonderful creatures!

The difference between kids and parrots is that it's funny when a parrot talks back.

For me it was a tough call between asha and zimba... but since asha looks so superbly innocent and zimba looks slightly whimsical and the title is cutest not necessarily most innocent looking bird.... i had to vote for zim.... but asha was a VERY close second!

Ahh, I didn't see the post (no duh, it was the first one!) and I voted for my bird. Ok, so detract one vote (the only vote) from Bruno, and give one to Emily's birds. :-D

Ask and ye shall recieve! Here's how I got the names for the 5 finches that were on my hand in that picture:

Angel- She was pure white, even her beak! (usually they're black as babies) Plus, she was the tamest little bird I've ever had. Truly an angel.  :)
Spotty- My sister named him. He had spots, and quite the attitude! Tried to bite the hand that fed him. Little did he know, finches can't bite hard.  ;)
Little Bird- She was my 2nd finch to hand raise, and was a lot smaller than the first one (Peepers), so she was therefore dubbed "Little Bird."
Einstein- When I started hand feeding him, he had little white strands of "hair" (actually just down feathers) everywhere on his head that made him look like Albert Einstein!
Fungus- He was never the cleanest baby... I think it's because he was in the back of the nest when he was still being raised by his parents. When we brought him home, his rear end was tinted a green fungus-like color, and my mom jokingly told me "Name him Fungus or something!" and so I did!
