So I bought some RPO. I was wondering about how YOU use it. Like what recipies you use it in.
Tomorrow am I will scramble some eggs with some in there. See how the tapper likes it.

D slightly warms it and mixes it in with the mush along with our spice mix. I haven't yet, but thought of using it in birdie bread.....

There is no need to fridge this stuff. When it is warm in the house it mixes really well into prepared foods but if it is a little hard I will soften it just a little. If you cook this most of the valuable nutrients will be lost. Just mix it with cooked grains etc. I would just add it after what ever you cook and after it has cooled a bit ;)

I was just reading a post on my other forum....one person brushes it on her parrot bread when it is still warm. She says it works great!

ooooh brushing it on birdie bread sounds like a great idea. Have to try that one. They both seemed to like the eggs that I made so that is good. I will try it tomorrow with their regular mush.

Yeah, for some crazy ass reason, they seem to like the stuff. It tastes like oil to me. I take a smidge and shmear it on already warmed morning mush meal.

You can mix it with just about anything but just a real little bit, it goes a long way. Sometimes if I put too much in & I think Zimba maybe will taste it & not eat I will add some crushed red pepper to spice things up a bit...BAM!

I found a large (about 8 ounces) of Red Palm Oil in a health food store. Is this the same stuff as the Red Palm Oil everyone's talking about? I can't seem to find it any other place. :D newquakermama
